Dublin's Aviva Stadium is one of Europe's best venues - but how does it compare with the City of Manchester Stadium? Our graphics show just how both stadia measure up...

The first ever Dublin Super Cup tournament needed to be staged in a top class venue and Aviva Stadium has now been officially recognised as one of the best venues in the world.

The redeveloped Lansdowne Road stadium, which holds 51,000, was only opened last year, but has already hosted some memorable events, including the recent Europa League final.

On July 30 and 31 it will host City, Inter Milan, Celtic and an Airtricity XI in the Dublin Super Cup. And for those set to attend that tournament, they will be pleased that the ground has just won a prestigious award.

The International Stadium Business Awards chose the Dublin ground as the ‘Best New Venue’, which is a considerable coup but one that is fully deserved for the state-of-the-art stadium.

Commenting on the award Aviva Stadium director Martin Murphy noted that in the stadium’s first year of operation that they had hosted some 26 pitch-related events and over 5,000 different events.
