Wayne Bridge’s Brighton and Hove Albion came up against Jeremy Helan’s Sheffield Wednesday in a match with significance at both ends of the Championship table.

Brighton still harbour promotion aspirations, while Sheffield Wednesday were out to continue their push after escaping the relegation zone and looking up the table for the first time this season.

It was to be Wednesday’s day as the Owls ran out 3-1 winners over the Seagulls, with Helan featuring for 82 minutes and Bridge playing the full 90.

City’s only deadline day capture Godsway Donyoh gave an interview in English with the Djurgardens website after completing a year-loan loan deal to the Allsvenskan side where he talked about the differences between the English and Swedish game.
