Kevin Bond
Kevin Bond was a trainee at AFC Bournemouth before switching to Carrow Road with his father, John, in 1974.
He played 161 games and won two England B caps during his time with the Canaries before once again being reunited with his father at City after a year in NASL with Seattle Sounders.
Bond made 110 appearances for the Blues in a three-year spell between 1981 and 1984.
Mel Machin
Although his playing career was undoubtedly winding down in 1974, Mel Machin showed he still had plenty to offer when he joined Norwich.
Four goals in 117 games for the Canaries followed for the left-back before he retired after a brief stint in the North American Soccer League.
His first managerial job was with City where he achieved promotion in his first season at Maine Road, masterminding the 5-1 win over Manchester United before leaving two months later, in November 1989.
Martin O’Neil
Now probably best known for his work as manager of Leicester City, Aston Villa and Sunderland, former Northern Ireland international Martin O’Neil was a talented midfielder in his playing days.
O’Neil played and managed Norwich City, making more than 70 appearances for the club in two spells either side of a season-long stay at City.
Martin appeared on 15 occasions for the Blues in the 1981/82 season under John Bond.
David Phillips
German-born Welsh international David Phillips was a right-winger famed for his spectacular long-range goals which earned him many a Goal of the Month nomination in his two-years at City.
He spent four seasons at Norwich after signing for £550,000 in 1989 which was a club record fee at the time.
Phillips scored three minutes into his debut and helped the Canaries to a third place finish in the inaugural Premier League season of 1992/93.
Darren Huckerby
After cultivating a reputation for being one of the most exciting, unpredictable forwards in English football thanks to a three-year stay at Coventry City, Huckerby failed at high-flying Leeds United after signing for £6m.
Signed by City in 2000 at around half the cost, ‘Hucks’ was instrumental in firing the Blues back to the Premier League, scoring 26 goals in the 2001/2002 promotion season.
He was inducted into Norwich City’s hall of fame after five years at Norwich in 2008 where he made more than 200 appearances.
