Over the next six days, starting today, ‘Aguero Stories’ will feature on mcfc.co.uk.

The six-part CityTV mini-series consists of exclusive Sergio Aguero interviews as he recollects stories and highlights of his new autobiography ‘Born to Rise’ which hit the book shelves last week.

The six featured episodes are: ‘Del Castilloooooo’, ‘Lived in a pitch’, ‘Sergio ‘Rottweiler’ Aguero, ‘I didn’t know Messi’, ‘Tolkien and Torres’ and ‘Asleep on the pitch’.

Talking of the release, Kun said: “The book was released in Argentina last year. We were asked by a publisher here in England to do the English version.

“They got in touch with Dani Fresco who wrote the book. They thought it was interesting and it all started there.

“But we started working on this book in 2008. It’s been a long but rewarding process. The goal really is to tell the story when I was kid, my parents’ stories and how everything evolved.

“The most interesting parts are from my birth until I was 16 or so because people probably don’t know most of it. I started playing in the top flight when I was 16 so I guess fans will know that part of my story. So it’s more about the past.”

Aguero Stories will feature the funniest and most unusual unknown stories from Born to Rise including why the most famous piece of Premier League commentary should have been Del Castilloooooo rather than Aguerrrroooooo.
