Jonathan Moss has been appointed as referee for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League game against Liverpool.
City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to ten in all competitions but return to winning ways in the Premier League, following a 0-0 draw with Aston Villa before the international break.
In his eight Premier League games this season, Moss has dished out 26 yellow cards and three reds.
This will be the second time he has refereed a Liverpool game this season - he also featured in the Reds’ 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
The last time he took charge of a City game was back in February, in the Blues’ 1-1 draw at home to Hull. Fernandinho and Samir Nasri went into the book that day.
He has never shown a red card to one of our players in the nine games he has officiated.
