City will learn their Champions League semi-final opponents when the draw takes place on Friday...

The draw will take place at UEFA HQ in Nyon and proceedings will begin at 10:30am BST.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side reached the last four of the prestigious competition following a 1-0 win against PSG at the Etihad on Tuesday, progressing 3-2 on aggregate.

The only other confirmed side for the semi-final draw is Real Madrid after they beat Wolfsburg 3-2 on aggregate.

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona face each other at the Vicente Calderón Stadium on Wednesday with Barca leading 2-1 from the first leg, while Benfica and Bayern square off at the Estádio da Luz the same night with the German side holding a 1-0 advantage.

The first leg of the semi-final will be played on 26 and 27 April, and the second leg will be played on 3 and 4 May.

The semi-final pairings are determined by an open draw in which no teams are seeded and clubs from the same national association can be drawn against each other.

An additional draw defines whether the winner of semi-final 1 or the winner of semi-final 2 are considered, for administrative purposes, the home team in the final.
