The youngster has also been in the headlines this week, discussing the possibility of facing City for the Scottish side in the Champions League.
He told the Daily Record: “That’s one thing my dad did say to them before I came up here - that if Celtic do get City, I wanted to play and they said that’s fine.
“My dad’s like that. He’d obviously love me to go back there and win for Celtic.
“He loves watching me play football. He comes to nearly every game. He travelled around the world with Fulham and City. He’s a big fan of me and will always have my back. It’s his dream to see me in the Champions League.”
Elsewhere, there was also praise for Jack Byrne, who completed 90 minutes for Cambuur but couldn’t prevent them from falling to a 1-0 defeat to Ajax.

Also in the Netherlands, Enes Unal and Divine Naah both played the full game as NEC Breda drew 1-1 with Waalwijk. Unal told press last week he hopes to become a City star.
Thomas Agyepong missed Twente’s 1-0 loss to Feyenoord with a shoulder injury.
Elsewhere, Ian Lawlor did not feature for Bury as the Shakers defeated Doncaster 1-0. The Irish shot-stopper has been in the headlines though, as his international u21s goalkeeping coach Carlo Cudicini believes his loan move will prove beneficial – as Joe Hart’s did.
“He has all the quality to become a Premier League goalkeeper,” the former Chelsea man stated. “But I am more of the view that you have to take it step by step. So it was really important for him to go on loan.
“I think it’s important at a young age to go and play and those divisions are very tough, League Two, League One are very tough decisions and for goalkeepers, it’s a great school.”
In the division above, Shay Facey was an unused substitute in Rotherham’s 4-0 triumph at MK Dons.
Meanwhile, in Turkey, Jason Denayer returned to Galatasaray’s starting line-up and played the full match as they drew 1-1 with Rizespor.
In France, Seko Fofana was substituted at half-time of Bastia’s 4-0 loss to Toulouse, whilst Yaw Yeboah was not involved in Lille’s 4-1 win over Monaco.

In Norway, Bismark Adjei-Boateng played all 90 minutes of Stromsgodset’s loss at Tromso, whilst Chidiebere Nwakali lasted 76 minutes of IK Start’s 1-1 draw with Molde.
Finally, Olivier Ntcham did not come on for Genoa in their 1-0 victory at Sassuolo and Bruno Zuculini continues to miss out for AEK Athens with a metatarsal fracture.
