French midfielder Seko Fofana has Serie A’s Udinese in a permanent deal.

The 21-year old Parisian joined City from Llorient three years ago and made a handful of appearances for the Elite Development Squad in his debut season before going on to become a regular under Patrick Vieira’s stewardship the following year.

Seko was nominated for the EDS Player of the Year award after a fantastic 2013/14 season and then joined Fulham on loan in November 2014 where he played 21 times in the Championship.

In summer 2015, he joined City’s first-team on the pre-season tour to Australia and made two non-competitive appearances against Adelaide United and Melbourne City.

Fofana spent last season out on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Bastia where he played 32 times, scoring one goal.

Everyone at the club wishes Seko all the best of luck in his future career.
