Reaction

“In what was proving an open, entertaining affair, City made the most of the space the hosts were allowing them. The speed of the Blues’ counter-attacks was continually putting Swansea on the back foot. The victory marked five on the bounce for City who have rediscovered their swagger probably just a month too late.” MCFC

“It was breathless stuff at times and from City’s point of view showcased some superb attacking football. City had too much going forward for a Swansea team that followed that defensive masterclass at Arsenal on Monday night with a much more expansive performance here.” The Guardian

“It was an excellent, entertaining end-of season cracker, both teams intent on attacking, and City simply out-gunned the Swans in the end, even though we had the rarity of Sergio Aguero not getting on the scoresheet when four goals were bagged.” Manchester Evening News

“The great thing about Manchester City is that it is never dull. The visitors and their hosts Swansea served up fabulous entertainment in a pulsating game full of goals, an unforgettable save and high drama at the Liberty Stadium.” The Mirror
