City players are up for a trio of Premier League awards for October.

Ilkay Gundogan is in the running for the EA Sports Player of the Month Award, Paolo Fernandes is on the Premier League 2 Player of the Month shortlist.

Gundogan was one of the bright spots in a tough October for City, the Germany international bringing his superb blend of work-rate, technique and footballing intelligence to the Blues’ midfield.

His crowning performance was the two-goal, one assist display in the 4-0 win at West Brom.

The second goal from that game, Aguero’s howitzer into the top corner, is up for the goal of the month award.

The Argentinian scored his 12th and 13th goals of the 2016/17 campaign in all competitions at the Hawthorns, the latter an unstoppable blast from that famous right boot.

Finally, in the PL2 18-year-old Fernandes scored four goals in three appearances against Spurs, Southampton and Liverpool in the EDS’ rise to the top of the table.

Supporters will decide who scoops the Premier League player and goal of the month awards, so if you want to see Ilkay and Sergio fend off stiff competition and claim the crown, cast your vote below:
