On the press tour for said book, both Jordi Cruyff and Guardiola took part in a lively Q&A at Waterstones in London where Johan’s son came out with a line that would put goosebumps on the forearms of City supporters the world over…

The film, which charts the Gallagher brothers’ rise from a council estate in Burnage to the biggest band in the world is an hilarious and often touching rags to riches tale for the ages.

Will there ever be another band like them? Catch this one in cinemas while you can!

Comeback

Gundogan’s comeback

Following nearly a year out of action for the German national team, Ilkay Gundogan returned in an emphatic win over Czech Republic.

You’d have to have a heart of stone not to smile as the likeable German got back to where he belongs.

Soccer AM: Pep bans wifi

Quotes attributed to Pablo Zabaleta suggested that the new City boss has banned wifi at the team’s training centre to encourage more camaraderie and communication between the squad.

Sky’s Soccer AM team, hot off their runaway success with their John Stones sketch, donned their cagoules oncemore and riffed on the story in their own inimitable way.

The accent may be overblown for comic effect but we can’t deny our amusement.
