The 20-year-old Brazilian returned to action for the game against United, coming on as an 85th-minute substitute after a two-month injury layoff.
He had a goal disallowed for offside in the dying seconds, reminding everyone how sharp he is inside the area - and Toure says having him available to play alongside Sergio Aguero will help them in the final five matches of the season as the Club bid to secure Champions League qualification.
“Aguero is doing very well and Gabriel Jesus is coming into the team again,” he said.
“At the moment, it’s difficult because we’re missing the goal but if we have our full strikers to make the difference it’ll be important for us.”
After the match Toure couldn’t hide his frustration as City’s struggle to turn dominant performances into three points continued.
The Blues had 69 per cent possession against United and were ahead on the shot count 13-3.
Despite the draw, City remain in the box seat for Champions League qualification - but Toure says finding the net more regularly will be vital in ensuring they finish inside the top four.
“We have to expect if we don’t score a goal it will finish like that,” Toure said.

“We have plenty of the ball during the 90 minutes and we failed to score. That’s the situation now.
“We have to win and we have to score goals, that’s the key.
“We have work hard on finishing because when you see all the stats, we have plenty of the ball, we have a lot of chances and it’s disappointing because to score one goal we have to miss 20 chances or something like that.
“And that’s the difference in the game. When you play well and you have chances, you have to convert.
“It reflects all this year. We’ve always been playing well, dominating games but in the end we don’t score and we draw or lose sometimes.
“But when you see all the games, we deserve a bit better.”
Despite the result, Toure believes there were positives to City’s derby display.
Not only were Pep Guardiola’s side on the front foot for most the game, they restricted United to just a handful of chances and rarely looked like conceding, which the Ivorian feels City can build on.
“Of course, I think the team we play very well,” Toure said.
“We were very strong today.
“United, if you remember, they have one chance or two chances all 90 minutes?
“We know Jose [Mourinho] is a very good manager, very clever.
“You know we attack and have plenty of the ball but when you don’t convert, that’s the problem.”
