Gabriel Jesus says he is thrilled with the start he has made to life in England after completing his move from Palmeiras to Manchester City last month.

The 19-year-old has scored three goals in four games for City, leading to widespread praise for the way he has adapted to his new surroundings.

He was the match-winner on Sunday, scoring two goals against Swansea as City lifted themselves to third in the Premier League table..

But it’s not just his goals that have impressed – the Brazilian has also demonstrated exceptional work rate and desire off the ball, leaving those who have watched him in awe of his ability.

“I am very happy,” he said of his start. “Each day I feel that I am adjusting really well, with the support of everyone in the club.

His first appearance was an eight-minute cameo against Tottenham that saw him create a chance with his first involvement seconds after coming on, before looping a header onto the roof of the net moments later.

He then led the line in City’s FA Cup win at Crystal Palace and brilliantly assisted Raheem Sterling for the opener.

He scored his first away goal in a Blue shirt at West Ham, before hitting a double in Sunday’s vital win over Swansea.
