Willy Caballero has started in each of the Blues’ last three games and the manager admits he has a selection headache ahead of the trip to Dean Court.
“I don’t know (who will play),” Guardiola stated. “I will decide on the day of the game.
“I think in the last game, we were more stable and we played good because of our defensive movements, our build up and our high pressing so the goalkeeper suffered less.
“My opinion of Claudio Bravo remains the same: he’s a top player – a top goalkeeper – one of the best in the world.
“His history and long career speaks for itself. Football here is particular – there are more crosses and more special things – but of course he is a top, top goalkeeper.
“For me, there are no doubts about that. The decision I take is what I see. That is why I am here and it is what it is.”
Nolito last featured for City as a substitute in the 3-0 FA Cup win at Crystal Palace.
Asked what the Spaniard must do to force his way back into the starting line-up. Guardiola replied: “Nothing. He doesn’t need anything more – just the manager to play him.
“Basically, we have three players in top form - Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus - and that’s the only reason (he has not played).”
Guardiola added he needs his squad to stick together and fight ahead of a crucial run of fixtures.
He continued: “I think about the next game, our rhythm, our way to play that has been much better in the last period and try to help the players to be ready.
“We will need all of them.
“To analyse if it is a good season, bad season, disaster season, you are the boss. We are going to analyse at the end of the season with the Chairman and the Sporting Director.
“Now we are in February. There are a lot of Premier League games and the Champions League and FA Cup are around the corner.
“That’s what I have to do but what this team do from the first day and in the last game and against Swansea is never give up. We are going to be there focused in every game until the last minute.
“Even in the games we lost 4-0 or 4-2, we never gave up. Sometimes the opponent was better, [we send] congratulations, shake hands and improve in our defeat. Next season, we’ll be back.”
