Gabriel Jesus and David Silva have joined Pep Guardiola on the Premier League’s February awards shortlists.

The Blues duo have been nominated for the EA Sports Player of the Month award, while the boss is up for the manager’s prize for the fourth time this season.

Guardiola oversaw an unbeaten three match run with victories over West Ham, Swansea and Bournemouth to ensure the Blues came through February with a 100% record.

He’s up against Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho and Tony Pulis in a bid to be crowned February’s top boss.

It was a month which saw our new Brazilian make an immediate impact in the Premier League. Jesus grabbed a goal and assist on his first start against the Hammers, before a match-winning brace in the 2-1 win over Swansea.

Team-mate Silva was equally as impressive. He too netted at the London Stadium and the playmaker was at his best throughout the month to produce a series of dazzling displays.

The City boys are joined on the player list by Hull’s Eldin Jakupovic, Harry Kane of Spurs, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and West Brom’s Gareth McAuley.

It’s over to the fans to decide, so if you want City recognised this month, head to the Premier League website to cast your vote.
