Recent form
There’s not much between the two teams in terms of current form.
City are in fourth based on the last six Premier League games (W3 D2 L1) while Leicester are seventh (W3 D1 L2).
The Foxes’ results have improved dramatically since Shakespeare was installed until the end of the season.
With eight wins and two draws in 13 matches (all competitions), it’s not hard to understand why the Leicester board placed their faith in Claudio Ranieri’s assistant on at least a temporary basis - though the ex Walsall and West Brom player will hope to be offered a more permanent role in the summer.
The first meeting back in December was arguably the Blues’ worst performance of the campaign defensively, as the Foxes put four past City at the King Power Stadium.

Travel woes...
A rare three points against West Brom in their last away game belies a poor season on the road for Leicester.
But for their home form (W10 D3 L4), the Foxes would almost certainly be in the relegation mix going into this game with just two wins on their travels all season.
A dozen losses in 18 games means the East Midlands outfit have taken just 10 points from a possible 54 with only Burnley and Hull having worse season stats away from home.
Last season was a different story, and a flying Foxes beat the Blues 3-1 at the Etihad - a result many Leicester fans cite as the day they started to really believe they could win the Premier League...
Missing stars
Captain Wes Morgan could return for Leicester this weekend after missing several weeks with a hamstring injury.
Nampalys Mendy has a long term ankle issue - otherwise, the Foxes treatment room is relatively empty.
Potential formation
Away from home, the Foxes are likely to go with Jamie Vardy as the lone striker and try and hit the Blues on the counter-attack.
Expect Kasper Schmeichel to look to set Vardy, Marc Albrighton and Riyad Mahrez on the break as soon as he collects the ball - City’s back-line will need to be ready!
Who to look out for
Mahrez and Vardy have discovered something like the form they were in last season and will look to help the Foxes continue their fine form.
Robert Huth will also be a threat from set-pieces and Mahrez’s delivery will be a danger anywhere near City’s box.
If Chelsea win at West Brom on Friday, this will be Leicester’s first game as former Premier League champions rather than current reigning champs.
