Pep Guardiola has been handed the Premier League Manager of the Month award for September.

The Catalan led City to a perfect four wins from four league games, a run that saw his side score a remarkable 17 goals without conceding.

They beat Liverpool 5-0, Watford 6-0 and Crystal Palace 5-0, before a fine performance away at defending champions Chelsea saw them come away with a vital 1-0 victory.

City currently sit top of the Premier League table on goal difference from Manchester United after seven matches.

It’s been a superb start to the new campaign for City. In 10 games across all competitions, they have won nine and drawn one, scoring 30 goals. In September alone, they won seven straight games, scoring 25 and conceding just once.
