Pep Guardiola’s exciting brand of attacking football has not only been easy on the eye, but also yielded some equally impressive results.
Thirteen points clear at the top of the Premier League, with a Carabao Cup final to look forward to, the Blues also remain in the FA Cup and Champions League.

Goals
Finding the back of the net has not been difficult for Guardiola’s men this season.
City have scored more than three goals in nine league and European games, including eye-catching routs of Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Watford.
It’s no surprise, considering we’ve taken more shots than anyone in the Premier League (467) and we also lead the league in scoring (74), 15 more than Liverpool who have 59.
The goals have been shared about, too, with 12 players finding the net in the league and six in the Champions League.
And with four – Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne, City have more players in the Premier League’s list of top 20 goal scorers than any other club.

Assists
There’s been several moments of individual brilliance this season, but more often than not City’s goal scoring exploits are the product of patient build-up play.
Collectively we’ve had more than 2000 more touches (23,272) than our Premier League rivals and played 18,929 passes, which also puts us top of the table.
It’s a similar story in Europe, where we’ve completed the most passes - 3996 - meaning we’ve edged Barcelona into second place by one.
And so far, we’ve averaged 60% of possession in our six group stage games.
Domestically, 14 players have provided goals for their team-mates in the Premier League, with Bruyne and Leroy Sane leading the way, while the Belgian and David Silva are top of the pile of the seven who’ve created goals in the Champions League.

Combinations
The relationship between goals and assists is obvious, but dig a little deeper and you can see which players have developed something of a knack of knowing where certain team-mates will be.
Sane and Sterling are the most effective duo in the City squad, with the German laying on four of Sterling’s Premier League strikes.

Woodwork
But for the frame of the goal and City’s attacking output could be all the more impressive.
