But far from dismissing Manchester United’s chances in the 177th derby clash, he is warning that Reds’ boss Jose Mourinho knows how to get results in big games and is expecting a tight, closely-contested affair.

‘We have nothing to fear’ says Uwe
Rosler, now manager of Swedish giants Malmo, will be watching the highlights of the game on Sunday night after Malmo wrap up their domestic campaign.
“I think City are in good form and with only Kevin De Bruyne absent, we go into the game pretty much full strength,” said Uwe.
“So, Pep can select from a squad who are high on confidence and in a great vein of form.“There has been a lot of noise coming across from Old Trafford since the season began about various issues and I think that’s had an effect on their performances to date.
“Against Juventus, they dug deep, and they got a lucky break to end with what was an impressive win in Turin.
“But in general, I don’t think we have anything to fear and we’ll go into the game in great form and in a great position to get three points.
“I don’t expect it to be easy, though. Mourinho is a very good and very experienced coach who knows how to get results in a particular way and I think he’ll come up with something to disturb our rhythm.
“If I had to second-guess how United will play, I’d say they will allow us to come at them and then try and hit us on the break with the pace of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
“They are also strong and physical on set-pieces, so I think they won’t want an open game and their first concern will be to stop us playing.
“We need to be patient, move the ball into pace and move it quickly and if we do that, we will definitely create chances.

“The players we have and the form we are in, we are prepared for anything so if United’s plan is to let us have a lot of the ball, it is a risky policy for any opponent.
“It’s important we stay well organised if any moves do break down and our attacking players use the ball well in one-on-one situations.
“Our fans create a wonderful atmosphere when we need it the most and the Manchester derby is always an occasion when they lift the bar.
“So, my message would be to create a hostile atmosphere from the first minute until the last because it could be the deciding factor in games that could go either way.
“I’ll be watching the game after our match with IF Elfsborg which is a crucial game for us. If Malmo and City win, I’ll be very happy on Sunday evening!”
