Ederson’s excellent start to the campaign continued against Burnley with a fifth clean sheet in succession.

The Brazilian goalkeeper is joint-top of the Golden Glove race with six shut-outs in nine Premier League matches.

Ironically, it is compatriot, club and international team rival and close friend Alisson that is neck and neck with the Blues’ custodian.

He is already well on the way to topping last season’s total of 16 clean sheets.

In total, the shot-stopper has kept 22 clean sheets in 45 Premier League matches for the Blues, conceding only three goals this campaign.

Liverpool have also conceded just three times this season.

Of Ederson’s 45 games, 37 have ended in victory and just two in defeat. He has also saved two penalties during that time.
