Pep Guardiola says the Frenchman is training alone but is making a good recovery from the knee surgery he underwent in November.
The rest of the squad, other than long-term absentee Claudio Bravo, are fit and ready to face Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg on Wednesday.
“He’s much better,” Guardiola said. “He’s training alone.
“Two weeks, three weeks maybe [until he returns].
“Everybody else is fit.”

City, the current holders, are looking to win the competition for the fourth time in six years, whereas Burton find themselves in the last four for the first time in their history.
With City now competing on four fronts, there have been suggestions City’s tough calendar could impact our Premier League performance.
But Guardiola sees winning as a habit and wants to continue making progress in every competition.
“Winning is important, we cannot deny it,” Guardiola said.
“We are in the semi-finals, one step closer to going back to Wembley. We take it seriously.
“The Carabao Cup is a more local competition. Everybody is happy to win but no one is sad to go out but we are here and we are going to try.”
