Today

Pep Guardiola and his squad will fly out to the Ukraine to begin early preparations ahead of Wednesday’s opening Champions League Group C encounter away to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Also on board the flight jetting out to Kharkiv will be Paul Harsley’s EDS players with the City youngsters taking part in their opening UEFA Youth League clash against Shakhtar earlier on Wednesday.

Tuesday

After taking part in training at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv, we will then hear direct from the boss as manager Pep Guardiola – along with one of the City squad – take part in a pre-match press conference looking ahead to our Champions League opener.

Wednesday

It’s match day! For the third season in a row we will be in Champions League action away at Shakhtar Donetsk and looking to get our European campaign up and running.

We emerged victorious from last season’s trip to Kharkiv, recording a 3-0 win in Eastern Europe but were edged out 2-1 in the 2017/18 season.

Kick-off at the Metalist Stadium is 8pm BST. The game will be televised live on BT Sports and there will also be comprehensive coverage via our live Matchday Centre here on mancity.com as well as on our Twitter account @ManCity.

Earlier that day our Under-19s open their UEFA Youth League campaign away to Shakhtar’s youngsters. Kick-off for Paul Harsley’s side will be 11am BST and we’ll bring you live updates, news and reaction both on our @ManCityAcademy Twitter account and here at mancity.com

Thursday

We’ll have the reaction and analysis following the clash with Shakhtar Donetsk before Pep and the squad fly back to Manchester to begin preparations for Saturday’s return to Premier League action at home to Watford.

Friday

Friday’s focus switches back to the Premier League and Saturday’s visit of Watford to the Etihad.

A busy week continues with our Under-18s, EDS and men’s first team in action.

First up Gareth Taylor’s Under-18s seek to maintain our superb start to the Premier League Under 18 league campaign when we visit Blackburn Rovers’ Under-18s.

Our EDS side travel to Derby to take on the Rams’ Under-23s in a Premier League 2 encounter with City looking to return to winning ways in the league after last weekend’s loss to Wolves.

Kick off in the East Midlands is at 1pm BST and we’ll have live updates on our @ManCityAcademy Twitter page as well as a full post-match report.

Sunday

A hectic week is rounded off with a vital encounter for our women’s team.
