Manchester City ended the decade having lifted more domestic silverware than any other club in England.

The last ten years have been a glittering period in our history, in which we’ve enjoyed countless memorable moments, hours of mesmerising football and watched players who will be remembered as some of the greatest to ever wear the sky-blue shirt.

But most importantly, we’ve won.

We’ve won every trophy on offer to both our men and women’s teams in English football, in fact, which puts us in top spot for domestic silverware between 2010 and 2019.

Under the stewardship of Roberto Mancini, Manuel Pellegrini, Pep Guardiola and Nick Cushing, we’ve added 16 trophies to our collection.

That’s four more than second-placed Arsenal, with Chelsea’s nine trophies leaving them in third.

In the men’s game we’ve tasted success on 10 occasions, which puts us ahead of Chelsea and Manchester United, who have won domestic silverware seven and nine times, respectively.

Arsenal (three), Birmingham City, Leicester City, Liverpool, Swansea City and Wigan Athletic (all one) are the other teams amongst the 92 in England to have be crowned champions of one of the country’s three major men’s trophies.

City also have the honour of being the most successful team of the decade in the Premier League and League Cup.

Our four league championships put us one ahead of Chelsea and two ahead of United in second and third place respectively.

Four League Cup triumphs also mean we’re two ahead of our cross-city rivals, who are the only other club to have won the competition more than once in the last ten years.

In the FA Cup we sit second behind Arsenal, who lifted the famous trophy on three occasions.

Whilst the Gunners are the most successful team across the last decade in women’s football, it’s City who have claimed the most prizes since we relaunched in the FA Women’s Super League in 2014.

With one FA WSL title, two FA Cups and three Continental Cups to our name, we have won one more trophy than the North London outfit and two more than Chelsea.

The success of both our first teams hasn’t just been confined to individual competitions, either.

Our men have won every trophy on multiple occasions, doing a Premier League and League Cup double under Pellegrini in 2013/14 and again with Guardiola in 2017/18, whilst a year later we went one better to claim the first ever domestic treble in men’s football in England.

Similarly, Cushing guided the women’s team to a league and cup double in 2016 and repeated the trick in 2019 by winning both the FA Cup and Continental Cup.

Our performance in the three major trophies has also been complemented by strong showing when we’ve participated in the Community Shield.

We are the second most successful side behind United in the annual curtain-raiser, winning it in 2012, 2018 and 2019, which when included in the overall domestic trophy tally, ensures we remain in first place.
