The Blues travel to Bloomfield Road looking for a fourth successive Premier League win, but Etuhu, who played under Holloway at Leicester, thinks taking on the Tangerines will be anything but a walk on the beach.
“Ollie is a really good manager and I enjoyed my time with him at Leicester,” said Etuhu. “He will send his team out to attack and will tell them to play with a free spirit.
“He knows how to get the best out of average players - and I don’t mean that with any disrespect to the Blackpool squad - but he’s a terrific man-manager with a lot of knowledge at all levels of the game.”
Though the Seasiders have lost heavily at Chelsea and Arsenal this season, they beat Liverpool last time out and have already accumulated ten points from seven games and Etuhu knows beating City would be another huge scalp for Holloway’s men.
“I think we should do what we do best and play our normal game because I think we’re one of the best counter-attacking sides in the country,” he opined. “I think Blackpool will come at us and play football, but we need to play to our strengths, too.

“Even though they’ve lost heavily a few times, they still created chances in every game they’ve played and they never give up. Anyone who goes to Anfield and leaves with three points must have something about them.
“I went to watch them against my brother’s side, Fulham, and I have to say I was really impressed.”
Etuhu, who spent much of last season on loan with Cardiff – the team Blackpool beat in the Championship play-off final last May - returned to City for the start of the new campaign, but was injured in an EDS match against Arsenal last month. He is now close to full fitness and eager to push for a place in the senior squad.
“I want to get back playing again as soon as I can and then maybe we can review things in January,” he said.
