Harry Bunn enjoyed a scoring debut for Preston North End and was the weekend’s stand-out performer.
After spending much of the early season with League One rivals Rochdale, Bunn moved to Deepdale at the start of the month and took no time settling in as he tapped home to pull his side level during the 3-2 win over Wycombe.
There was less luck for Oldham’s Luca Scapuzzi, however. Unable to find a way past high-flying Huddersfield’s defence, the Italian had just a yellow card to show for his efforts as his side were beaten by a goal in the dying minutes of the game.

Elsewhere in La Liga, Vladimir Weiss’ inclusion off the bench in the 57th minute of Espanyol’s game at Sevilla failed to have the desired effect as the Slovakian was unable to break the deadlock for his side.
