The England No.1 has kept 17 clean sheets in the league to date and is two ahead of his nearest rival Tim Krul with one match remaining.
Hart won the same honour last season after keeping 18 clean sheets during the 2010/11 campaign – a figure he could match with another shut-out against QPR.
“It’s obviously a fantastic thing to have, but winning the Golden Glove award would mean absolutely nothing if we don’t get the result we need on Sunday,” said Hart.After conceding just one goal in the last five matches, Joe feels relaxed and focused ahead of the Blues’ final game of the season – one that could see City win a first title since 1968.
“Training has been exactly the same, obviously there’s a great buzz around the place but we just want to keep doing what we’ve been doing – playing well, giving our all and keep doing what we’ve been doing until the last kick of the match against QPR,” he said.
“The fact that this is the last game of the season has got lost somewhere along the way so whatever happens on Sunday, it’s going to be weird.

“There’s a lot of publicity surrounding our club all the time, but we are just keeping our heads down and are concentrating on winning on Sunday.”
Hart, who signed from Shrewsbury Town in 2006 for a bargain £600,000, admits he never envisaged being part of a team who would go into the final game of the season knowing three points would secure the Premier League title.
“It never even crossed my mind that this situation might one day happen – it’s what we all play football for and it goes without saying it’s where we want to be as players and a Club – but the fact is we still need to win our final game and it’s going to be a tough match,” he said.
“I’ve never even allowed myself to think about anything like this – I’ll just roll up on Sunday, as all the lads will – and we’ll do our best and see where that takes us.”
City were also awarded the LMA Performance of the Week award for the 2-0 victory at Newcastle after being voted for by a panel that includes Joe Royle and Sir Alex Ferguson.
