Nicolas Otamendi and Sergio Aguero are City’s resident dressing room DJs…and it’s no surprise that there’s a strong Latin American influence to their music choices!

The City defender has revealed that music duties fall to him and Aguero, with Bacary Sagna on hand to provide the dancing.

He says the soundtrack is largely influenced by City’s Argentine players, with cumbia and reggaeton the most popular styles played.

“It’s either myself or Kun Aguero who play the music,” he said. “It’s called cumbia in Argentina, or reggaeton, and we have Bacary Sagna who likes to dance sometimes.

“So, yeah, we try to get a good feeling and create a good atmosphere in and around the team.”

The 28-year-old says he is lucky to have joined a club with so many of his fellow countrymen in the squad.

As well as Aguero, Otamendi can count Pablo Zabaleta and Willy Caballero as fellow Argentine team-mates, and when he joined the club in the summer of 2015, he also played alongside Martin Demichelis.

He believes they bring a positive feel to the training ground.

“I was lucky I arrived at a team with other Argentinians in the squad,” he said. “What we give especially is our positive mentality, so we always try to give this part of our character to the rest of the squad, which is positive thinking all the time and trying to cheer up our team-mates.”
