Team news

City

John Stones remains doubtful due to discomfort in his adductor muscle, while Sergio Aguero is out for the season.

Benjamin Mendy could return to the starting XI, having featured for the first-time since September when he was introduced from the bench against Swansea. Fernandinho is back in contention following his suspension.

West Ham

James Collins (hamstring) and Sam Byram (ankle) are doubtful for the Hammers. Michail Antonio is unavailable with a hamstring problem, while Winston Reid and Pedro Obiang are also out of contention with MCL knee ligament injuries.

The last time

We last met West Ham at the Etihad Stadium back in December last year when we secured a 2-1 victory.

Angelo Ogbonna opened the scoring for the Hammers just before the break but the Blues turned the game on its head in the second half, thanks to goals from Nicolas Otamendi and David Silva.

A word from the oppostion...

“I don’t think there is ever a good time to play them with the form they’re in and the players they’ve got,” David Moyes said in his press conference.

“We’ll give them as good a game as we can and we hope we can take the three points.”
