Last time out
City’s last trip to Goodison Park heralded a 3-1 triumph in March 2018, courtesy of goals from Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling inside the first 37 minutes.
The last meeting took place at the Etihad Stadium in December with the hosts cruising to a victory of the same scoreline. Gabriel Jesus bagged a brace that day, with Sterling also on the scoresheet.

“It will be really tough. In my opinion that team play the best football in the Premier League even if in some away games they didn’t achieve the results,” Silva said.
“They are really solid with strong character. They will play with 70-80% of the ball. We have to be ready to suffer and be solid in these types of moments.
“We have to be ambitious to try and make some damage on them.
“They are always really tough to all the opponents.
“It will be a difficult task for us but they are not invincible.
“I want to see our team making things really difficult for them. Even if [City] achieve a good result they have to feel like it’s been a tough game for them. That was not my feeling in the last match.”
