Although many in the footballing world have now dismissed the Blues’ chances following the 0-0 draw at Norwich, the skipper has refused to give up.

Referring to Manuel Pellegrini’s recent declaration City needed nine wins out of ten to do so, Kompany stated after Saturday’s game: “It leaves nine out of nine then.
“If that’s what the manager said, we are still on track.”
The Mirror also feature comments from the defender, who has demanded an attacking display in Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Dynamo Kyiv.
City are the only remaining English team in the competition, but Kompany warned they must not head into the game expecting to progress.
“It has to happen first,” he cautioned. “I will put it this way - we have always said as a club we need to progress and with the Champions League it was the very first time as a club that we qualified.
“You know, reaching the quarter-finals would give us that little bit more experience and be exciting for the fans.
“All of us are concentrated and will approach it as a game that stands at 0-0 and try to win it. And from there we will see.”
