The media have been having their say ahead of that one, and we’ll bring you the best of their coverage.
And, as ever, there’s some transfer gossip to contend with.
Let’s start with the latest transfer news.
It doesn’t matter how may times Pep Guardiola rules out January incomings, the media continue to link players with a move to the Etihad.
Today it’s the turn of Schalke midfielder Sebastian Rudy.
Alan Nixon, writing in the Sun, says City will try to tie up a loan deal for Rudy, a player who would provide some cover for Fernandinho for the remainder of the campaign.
“Manchester City may make a surprise loan move for Schalke star Sebastian Rudy,” Nixon writes.
“Boss Pep Guardiola wants cover for midfielder Fernandinho — the only real gap in his squad — and has been making checks ahead of a shock deal for the German.
“Guardiola knows Rudy well from his time in Germany.
“He was an unsung hero at Hoffenheim before moving to Bayern Munich.
“But Rudy has struggled for form at Schalke and they may be open to a short-term loan if there is a fee involved.
“City are looking into an emergency solution as none of the top-class Fernandinho replacements are currently available.”

We’ll keep our eye on that one...
The Manchester Evening News’ Simon Bajkowski says Guardiola has to field a strong lineup, and backs Danilo to start at left-back.
“City have no fitness concerns other than the injured Benjamin Mendy and can afford to rest again at Burton in midweek, so it has to be the strongest XI possible against Huddersfield - particularly given Liverpool’s result,” Bajkowski writes.
“That means a number of tough calls but such is life with a talented squad. While Gabriel Jesus has been excellent recently, Sergio Aguero is still the most reliable goalscorer.
“And Kevin De Bruyne gave City another dimension when he came off the bench against Wolves for David Silva. The only other issue is left-back, where Danilo deserves another game.”
The Guardian’s Paul Doyle thinks Huddersfield face a monumental task.
“Most Huddersfield fans were sad to see David Wagner leave as manager despite the club’s position at the bottom of the Premier League,” he writes.
“Beating Manchester City while under the caretaker charge of Mark Hudson would go some way to cheering up the locals and convincing them that relegation is not a certainty. But it is a mighty tall order, with Pep Guardiola’s side in fabulous form as they continue to chase Liverpool at the top of the table.”
The BBC’s Mark Lawrenson has backed City to win, predicting a 2-0 away victory.
“City had to come from behind to win here last season through a late Raheem Sterling goal, but I think things will be more comfortable for Pep Guardiola‘s side on Sunday,” Lawrenson writes.
Prediction: 0-2.”
