City bravely bow out of the Champions League in a tough battle at the Etihad Stadium.

After suffering a 3-0 defeat to the Reds at Anfield, City has a huge task of defeating Liverpool by three goals at the Etihad.

Things couldn’t have started better for the Blues as Gabriel Jesus scored after two minutes to give City hope.

City arguable had chances to be 3-0 up at the half but a questionable offside decision and penalty call did not go in our favour.

Liverpool went on to score two goals in the second half to end all hope for semi-final progression.
