Manchester City sealed our place in the last 16 of the Champions League after a battling 2-2 draw away at Lyon.
Aymeric Laporte and Sergio Aguero struck fine second half headers to secure a share of the spoils in France and ensure the Blues’ passage through to the knockout stages.
It was a tough test for City with Lyon enjoying the better of the first half and then taking the lead through Maxwel Cornet’s curling shot.
But City upped the ante after that and Laporte crowned a fine individual display by heading home David Silva’s flick-on from Raheem Sterling’s free-kick.
Cornet then struck again for the hosts before Aguero responded within a minute in what was a thrilling clash.
