Training: City's Euro vision

Manchester City were back at work at the CFA today as the focus switched to Wednesday’s latest Champions League group clash at home to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Less than 12 hours after our superb 6-1 win over Southampton, which sent Pep Guardiola’s side two points clear at the top of the Premier League, the Blues squad returned to the training ground.

After successive Group F wins away at Hoffenheim and Shakhtar Donetsk, City are top of the table and another win on Wednesday would take us a huge step closer towards qualifying for the knockout stages.

And ahead of a big week, with the Etihad derby against Manchester United following hard on the heels of Wednesday’s clash, the City players were in upbeat mood.
