Monday motivation: City are up for the Cup!

The focus was trained firmly on the Carabao Cup on Monday as City were put through their collective paces ahead of Tuesday night’s third round tie away at Championship side Preston North End.

The trip to Deepdale will see Pep Guardiola’s squad set out in the quest to seal what would be a hat-trick of Carabao Cup triumphs, with City having won the trophy for the past two seasons.

And, not surprisingly, spirits amongst the squad were high at the CFA in the wake of our record-breaking 8-0 win over Watford at the weekend – our biggest-ever Premier League victory.
