Europe was the focus as the City squad were put through their paces at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv on Tuesday night.
The ground plays host to Wednesday night’s opening Champions’ League Group C encounter.
Pep Guardiola’s squad have happy memories of the venue, having recorded a 3-0 win out in the Ukraine in October of last year.

At his pre-match press conference ahead of the session, the boss spoke of the importance of getting off to a positive start in Europe.
And the players certainly looked focused but relaxed too during Tuesday night’s training session.
