Our Brazilian midfield marvel hasn’t looked back since joining City from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2013.
The 34-year-old, who has signed a new contract extension, has made a major impact in our ensuing success and has also demonstrated his versatility this season by switching roles, to great effect, to the centre of our defence.

In his six and a half years at the Club to date, Fernandinho has helped City to three Premier League titles, four Carabao Cup successes, one FA Cup triumph and a Community Shield success too.
And with City in the Carabao Cup semi-final again year, through to the fifth round of the FA Cup and also in the last 16 of the Champions League, there could be even more success on the horizon this term.
