The Blues reached the quarter-finals of the competition thanks to a thumping 8-0 triumph over Aston Villa Ladies, with the forward netting a hat-trick and creating an assist.
She has now bagged six goals in 11 appearances this season - the best form of her career, she admits.
Naturally delighted with her individual and team’s display at Sutton Coldfield, the Liverpudlian told ManCity.com Nick Cushing’s side are back on track after two disappointing draws in the league - and they have no fear.
“I’m really proud to have scored my first hat-trick for City,” she smiled. “Hopefully, there are many more to come
“I always want to contribute to goals and assists. I’ve done that but most importantly, we put in the performance and win we needed.
“We’re back to winning ways and there’s no better feeling. The team are on a high now. Hopefully, we can push on.
“Any team will do in the cup draw! I feel any team we play we should dominate and be able to beat.
“Obviously, there’s a bit of a gap before our next game but we’ll train hard and get prepared for the trip to Notts County.”
The England star received deserved praise from her manager, who hailed her determination to make a positive contribution.
He reflected: “Keets probably felt a bit disappointed she didn’t start against Liverpool. I maybe should have started her because she played well when she came on but we were trying a different gameplan.
“She made an impact so we started her against Villa and she did what she does best, causing problems for defences and scoring goals. She was exceptional and probably our best player.”
