      The last time...

Reading condemned City to our first home defeat of 2018 with a 2-0 triumph at the Academy Stadium.

Remi Allen and Kirsty Pearce were on the scoresheet for the Royals, who were reduced to ten players with Jo Potter sent off late on.

      Nick Cushing preview

“We always go into games with confidence but previous games have shown that if the level is not as high as it should be, you drop points.

“Tonight will be difficult and we’ve had two fewer recovery days but we want to be putting consistent runs together.”

          Form

City head into the clash on the back of three successive wins - including two high-scoring victories in our last outings: a 7-1 triumph over West Ham and a 6-0 win over Brighton.

Reading enter the encounter on a mixed run of form, having fallen to a 6-0 defeat to Arsenal last time out, after defeating Liverpool 1-0 and losing at home to Birmingham.

              Stats

Two goals for Nikita Parris would lift the forward top of the all-time FA Women’s Super League scoring charts.
