The right-back, who won the Super League title twice with Liverpool, produced another impressive display to help move Man City Women ten points clear at the top of the table with a 4-0 win at Doncaster.
With the Blues now in pole position to clinch a first domestic crown, Bronze believes her side have what it takes to complete the season as ‘invincibles’ but has urged her teammates not to look that far ahead.
Speaking to ManCity.com after Thursday’s victory in South Yorkshire, she reflected: “It was good to get a win, especially away from home.
“We did well - we’ve had a hard run of games, with so many matches in quick succession after having a big break.
“It was good to get another clean sheet as well. We’d been frustrated to let in a few sloppy goals in the last few weeks so we were happy not to have conceded and to have scored lots of goals.

“I think we played very differently to how people are used to seeing. We normally pass the ball a lot and attack a lot, putting pressure on the opposition.
“This was our fourth game in 12 days so we had to adapt our game - we have to do that when we come up against new things in the league, and maybe the Champions League.
“We had a few heavy legs on the team towards the end - which was always going to happen because we’d picked up a few injuries recently, meaning we hadn’t had a full squad for the last two games.
“We always try to keep the intensity as high as possible.
To a certain extent we’ve relieved the pressure on ourselves but we know we’re still two games ahead of Chelsea and three of our last four games are against top-four teams.
“We have a hard finish to the season. It’s a good position for us to be in but ultimately, we have to win those last four games.”
As well as playing a key role defensively, Bronze also netted her fourth City goal at the Keepmoat Stadium, powering in a header from Toni Duggan’s corner.
Naturally delighted to get herself on the scoresheet, the England star revealed the Blues have been working on set-pieces of late.
“We get a lot of corners in most games because we attack a lot,” she explained. “It’s something we’ve worked on - getting on the end of the crosses - and Toni’s been putting in some great balls.
“Thankfully, I finally got my head on one of them!”
In addition to their fine league form, City also booked a semi-final spot in the Continental Tyres Cup this week. The Blues face Arsenal in early September and while Bronze declared her side are excited about the clash, asserted they are taking one game at a time.
“We’ve got to focus on the league a lot,” she continued. “The semi-final will be a tough game for us and we want to win silverware - that’s another trophy we can get our hands on.
“We’ve drawn one of the toughest teams left in the competition - Arsenal always give us a good game and we’re hoping that will be another.
“Whoever turns out to win it could potentially go on to win the whole thing.”
City now have a two-week break until their next game as Bronze and her fellow Blue Lionesses embark on a seven-day training camp with England.
The defender stated a switch in focus is useful.
“It’s been tough for us City girls with so many games,” she conceded. “Hopefully, we’ll get a few days’ rest but it’s always good to get back with England and it’s good preparation for next year.”
