The Liverpool-born striker has committed her immediate future to the Club, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal following a successful spell at the Academy Stadium.
The 21-year-old, who signed on loan from Everton Ladies in January 2015, netted 11 goals in her debut season with Nick Cushing’s side and is relishing the challenge of competing in four competitions next year - the league title, two cups and the Champions League.
“I’m really happy to have signed permanently,” she told mcfc.co.uk. “I’m so glad because here at City, I feel I’ve got a place I can call home.
“I love the people here - obviously I already knew Toni [Duggan] and Jill [Scott] - but I’ve also made new friends and the staff are lovely.
“It was an easy decision for me. I wanted to stay in WSL 1 and I didn’t want to go to any other club.
“Last season, City provided me with the opportunity to stay in the top division and I wanted to reward them with my full registration.”
Although the Blues completed 2015 without a trophy, the Club clinched a European spot for the first time in their history - helped by the forward’s crucial goals.
Reflecting on her maiden campaign in Manchester, Parris admitted it was a season of mixed emotions.
“Last season was a bit up and down,” she conceded. “We finished it disappointed because we didn’t win any silverware but we qualified for the Champions League which is a big achievement for the Club and I’m glad to be staying so I can help them to push on.
“We’re going for all of the cups and every player is determined to win a trophy this season.”
While Cushing has strengthened his attacking options with the signing of Scotland international Jane Ross, Parris asserts she will thrive on the competition and hopes to rekindle the form which saw her net five strikes in her first six games.
“It will be an exciting season for all of us,” she declared.
“On a personal level, I want to score more goals and become a better team player.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the new signings we’ve made. I’ve welcomed them to the Club and as Jane is another forward, I can’t wait for the competition.
“We’re teammates at the end of the day and we’ve got the same goal - we want to win.
“I just want to build on what I did last season and I’m so happy to be staying.”
