Manchester City Women will stream the final game of their FA Women’s Super League-winning season live on Facebook, as they look to end the campaign unbeaten.

Fans from around the world can tune in to see if Nick Cushing’s side can round off a hugely successful year, by maintaining their undefeated record against Birmingham City Ladies on Sunday.

The live broadcast also gives supporters who can’t make the game the opportunity to join the post-match party, when Steph Houghton will lift the FA WSL trophy in front of the home crowd at the Academy Stadium.

We’re all set for a day of celebration, but first the team will be looking for a repeat of the result that saw them beat the Midlands outfit 1-0 to lift the Continental Tyres Cup earlier this season.

Fans can follow all the final day drama from 15 minutes before kick off, with Alistair Mann and CityTV’s Kelly O’Donnell bringing you the latest team news from 1:45pm.

This is the fourth Manchester City Women’s game to be streamed live on the social media platform and Houghton is delighted that the Club’s global fan base will have the chance to join the celebrations.

The skipper said: “Lifting the trophy is going to be a really special moment for the team and we’re so happy that our supporters around the world have the opportunity to share this with us.

“We hope we can put on a great show for them and if we can remain unbeaten it will complete an incredible season.”
