The Man City Women defender met fans at the Academy Stadium to support Make Dreams Goals, where she encouraged the youngsters to share their footballing ambitions in the specially designed competition post boxes.
Open to children across the country, Make Dreams Goals will turn a number of lucky young fans’ aspirations into reality and prior to next week’s FA Cup semi-final, McManus shared her childhood dreams and looked ahead to Monday’s game against Liverpool.
“The Make Dreams Goals competition and the magic of the SSE Women’s FA Cup has made for such a great afternoon with our young fans today,” explained the defender.
“We know our fans want to see Manchester City lift the SSE Women’s FA Cup at Wembley and we’re going to do our very best to make that dream a reality for them.”
Fans aged 7-15 are encouraged to share their aspirations as part of the competition and any children attending the Blues’ clash with Liverpool can post their dreams in the Make Dreams Goals post boxes at the Academy Stadium.
