With interest in the women’s game constantly on the rise, budding female footballers will have the chance to meet their heroines and enjoy a range of extra benefits as clubs are invited to become affiliated with the reigning FA WSL champions.
Bronze, Silver and Gold packages are available, with range of exciting benefits including matchday tickets, coaching sessions, signed memorabilia and more...
Tickets
Each Sister Club will be given an allocation of tickets dependent upon the package purchased. Tickets will be permitted to be used by adults or children and used throughout the season until the maximum amount has been claimed by each Sister Club. Further tickets can be purchased at a discount.
Signed memorabilia
Signed player postcards (Bronze), one signed football and signed various player postcards (Silver), one squad signed framed shirt, signed football and signed various player postcards (Gold) will be provided for each Sister Club’s use.
Matchday media
Manchester City Women will provide an ‘Official Sister Club’ logo that includes the MCWFC crest and the grassroot clubs membership level for the 2017/18 season. Each Sister Club’s logo will be displayed on the jumbo screen on a matchday and will be included in the matchday programme.
Coaching session
One coaching session will be held for a maximum of 20 players of each Sister Club at City Football Academy during the 2017-2018 season. For Gold members, a coaching session will be also be provided for the Sister Club’s coaching staff at City Football Academy.
Matchday experience*
All Sister Clubs will be invited to City Football Academy on ‘Sister Club Day’ to take part in various aspects of a matchday, including being player escorts and providing a guard of honour.
*There are limited spaces for each experience.
Tournament invitation
A tournament will be held at City Football Academy during the 2017/2018 season for various age groups, to be determined once Sister Clubs are confirmed. This will be available to all Silver and Gold Sister Clubs.
Open training session
Gold Sister Clubs will be invited to watch an Open Training Session during the 2017/2018 season. This will be for a maximum of 20 players plus two coaches per Sister Club.
Player appearance
One player appearance will take place during the 2017/2018 season for Gold Sister Clubs. At least one player will attend an event with each Gold Sister Club at the City Football Academy or other venue as agreed by Manchester City Women’s FC.
Additional benefits from the FA
All Sister Clubs will have access to a range of opportunities such as England Women’s mascot spaces, Continental Tyres Cup player parades, signed Lionesses shirts, corporate hospitality at SSE Women’s FA Cup matches and more.
Price
The cost of becoming a Sister Club of Manchester City Women’s Football Club for Bronze members is £200, Silver £350 and Gold £550. This covers the whole of the 2017/18 season.
