The Blues have been drawn alongside Birmingham City and another WSL 1 outfit, Everton, as well as WSL 2 sides Doncaster Rovers and Oxford United in Group 2 North.
Nick Cushing’s side kick off the defence of their title at Oxford on Thursday 2 November with their first home game three days later against Everton.
A trip to the Keepmoat Stadium is scheduled for Thursday 16 November, though the Doncaster Belles match may be rearranged if the Blues progress in the Champions League.
The group stage concludes with a repeat of last season’s final as the Midlands outfit again make the trip to the Academy Stadium on Sunday 3 December.
A number of changes have seen the Continental Cup revamped for the 2017/18 campaign, with the competition reverting back to the first-round group stage format previously used in 2015.
Twenty teams have been split into four regionalised groups of five, with the top two teams progressing to the quarter-final.
City will play each team once and all group stage fixtures must be settled, meaning that if scores are level after 90 minutes, the tie will head straight to a penalty shoot-out.
This rule also sees a new point scoring system introduced.
The traditional three points for a win remains, however, should a game require penalties, the winning side will be awarded an extra point in addition to the one given for the draw.
If the reigning champions progress to the knockout stage they will be able to take advantage of an extra substitute, with a fourth replacement permitted in games that go beyond 90 minutes.
The 2017/18 Continental Cup final will take place on the weekend of 10/11 March 2018.
