Manchester City Women booked their place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League with victory over Fortuna Hjorring. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the final four...

Goals from Carli Lloyd and Lucy Bronze across the two legs saw City past the Danish club but what can they expect when they come up against French giants Lyon?

When and where?

City will welcome Lyon to the Academy Stadium on either the 22/23 April before travelling to the France for the second leg on either 29/30 April.

How did they get here?

City have seen off Zvezda Perm (6-0 agg), Brondby (2-1 agg) and Fortuna Hjorring (2-0 agg) to make it to the final four of Europe’s elite competition.

Lyon began the tournament with a 10-2 aggregate victory over Norwegian club Avaldsnes. They followed that up by beating Zurich 17-0 across two legs before a 2-1 defeat of fellow tournament heavyweights Wolfsburg in the quarter-finals.

Top scorers

Attacking full-back Lucy Bronze is City’s most prolific player in the competition with three strikes.

Experienced France internationals Eugenie Le Sommer and Camille Abily have both scored five goals in this season’s tournament for Lyon.
