The Blues, who kickstarted their Spring Series campaign with a thrilling 3-2 win at Reading, visit the Stoke Gifford Stadium for the second time this season, having triumphed there on their route to Wembley.
Eager to retain their league title, Cushing insists his side will only switch their focus after the full-time whistle blows in Bristol.
“We have another game before the FA Cup final so we have to concentrate on that,” he stated.
“This is a winning team. We wanted to get the winning feeling back as soon as possible [against Reading].
“We want consistency in our performances, especially leading up to the FA Cup final.”
Reflecting on the triumph at Adams Park, Cushing admitted he could not have predicted how the game panned out.
City led early on through a header before Reading turned the game on its head with goals from Jade Moore and Lauren Bruton.
The Blues rallied though and – inspired by substitute Megan Campbell and her incredible long throw-ins – scored twice in quick succession to claim all three points.
“It’s fair to say we expected a tough game but we didn’t expect at half-time for it to go that way,” Cushing conceded.
The Spring Series has allowed the Blues boss to rotate his squad more, providing gametime for those on the fringe of the starting XI.

The manager has been pleased with the reaction of his players, who have fought for the shirt, and highlighted the importance of competition.
“We want our players to work hard,” he added, “and if they find themselves out of the team, we want them to keep up their enthusiasm and work hard to get back in
“Competition is the only way to get consistency.”
