The Rochdale and Prestwich-born Blues - our sixth and seventh women’s Centurions after Steph Houghton, Jill Scott, Izzy Christiansen, Nikita Parris and Jen Beattie - progressed through the Club’s Academy to become first-team regulars.
Composed, battling and assured right-back McManus, admired for her positional nous, had represented Man City Ladies before the Club was relaunched in 2014. She was introduced from the bench against the Gunners to sure up the defence and protect the precious lead.
Technically gifted and calm in possession with a tremendous work ethic and passing ability, Walsh broke into the side aged just 17 and played a key role as Nick Cushing’s side overcame the odds to defeat Arsenal in the 2014 Continental Tyres Cup Final.
Since then, the pair have played key roles as City clinched a sensational sweep of domestic trophies: the Super League title, Continental Tyres Cup and FA Cup, in addition to consecutive Champions League semi-finals.

Both have earned recognition on the international stage for their efforts, having made their senior England debuts over the past 12 months.
Walsh, who was named the Club’s ‘Rising Star’ in 2014 before earning the same accolade in the 2017 Northwest Football Awards, has been cited as a future Lionesses captain.
