Gemma Bonner has become the tenth Manchester City player to be called into the England squad for the forthcoming Road to France Series matches against Canada and Spain.
Karen Bardsley, Ellie Roebuck, Steph Houghton, Abbie McManus, Demi Stokes, Jill Scott, Georgia Stanway, Keira Walsh and Nikita Parris had already been selected by Lionesses boss Phil Neville for this month’s double-header.
Now defender Bonner has also been drafted into the England squad.

England host Canada at City’s Academy Stadium on this Friday, April 5, before facing Spain at Swindon’s Energy Check County Ground on Tuesday, April 9.
