City are the holders of the trophy, having defeated Arsenal in a penalty shoot-out victory at Bramall Lane in February.
The triumph marked the Club’s third success in the competition with victories in 2014 and 2016.
The quarter-finals will take place on 15/16 January with the draw details to be confirmed.
